Why Not Free Service?

Elance says in their policies.

"You cannot offer free work, including free mock-ups, in order to win work". One of the POLICY Elance enforce.

This point brings a question; Why do they enforce this policy? Some of the possible reason comes to my mind.

1. They do not want to promote free services as other Expert may find this discouraging.
2. They do not want to loose their service fee.
3. Free service provider may be less committed and may degrade the quality of website.

But I think that is not how we deal in our social life. We do have free service provider and free services provided by service provider to promote their services. In my opinion the Service provider should have liberty to provide free services?

YES I am speaking same language what you hear from a social media person. Because Social media is not about sharing photo or just being connected to your friends this is more about replication your social behaviour on the web, so is the eZdia.

BUT AGAIN IT IS ALL ABOUT TRUST.
